The Bungalow is a home located in Thurcaston, a small village in Leicestershire. Within the surrounding villages Anstey, Birstall, Beaumont Leys the young people have access to a shopping centre, swimming pool, sports and leisure centre and library. There is a bus that runs to Leicester city centre hourly.
The home offers a safe, secure, caring and supportive environment. We aim to provide independent living skills, in order for young people to have the time to adjust and recognise their transition into becoming independent. We create a living environment without the added responsibilities and pressures of independent living; but the space to learn, practice and prepare for independence.
