The Dale is a 5 bedroom detached house located in the Rotherham area, it is very much like the other houses in the area and is within a short commutable distance from the city centre, where young people have access to cinemas, theatres, art galleries, museums, swimming pools, leisure centres, bowling alleys, laser quest, and other recreational and cultural amenities.

The home has been adapted with the young people in mind to allow for it to reflect a family dwelling and comfort. No expense has been spared, as we believe these children deserve the best.

We have up to 3 young people live together in an environment which is based on ordinary life principles. The Dale empowers and is committed to working positively with young people by encouraging them to take an active role in their care wherever possible using their preferred method of communication.

The young people are supervised by a well-trained, experienced, and caring team. The young people will be encouraged to decorate their room their way, and finances will be made available in order to facilitate this. All young people will have personally chosen their bedding and soft furnishings to make their room as comfortable as possible.

The Dale offers a range of activities both indoors and out which young people are free to participate in. There are opportunities for the children and young people to go on outings to the shops, parks, coast, leisure activities, restaurants, and travel on public transport or the homes car, the children / young people have a choice of indoor activities such as television, DVDs, computer with internet access, console games, books, toys, and craft equipment or have movie nights.
