Winnifred House

Our children’s home is located in Bury, surrounded by beautiful scenery and a fishing port. The team at the home pride themselves on nurturing young people to become independent adults, by developing good life skills to help them in the wider world. We encourage, promote, and support all our young people with their individual educational, health, and emotional needs, encouraging them to attend appointments and supporting them through difficult times, as any family and good parent would.

We are child-focused, providing young people stability, and routine while still maintaining rules and boundaries which embeds a sense of belonging in a caring and nurturing environment.

There is a real emphasis and focus on creating a family environment which helps our young people to develop and realise their own potential.
